wanted to share with ya'll a cure for puppies with loose stinky poops. My 3 wk litter started with watery poops most likely from rich mothers milk and too much of it. I started locking her out at times throughout the day, and as my vet recommended, I am giving them Danon Activia yogurt twice a day. He said give them about 3-5 ml's twice a day. It worked like a charm. It has more acidophilus in it than regular yogurt, and they are solid again. It's good for them too!

Yes, yogurt is very healing to the intestinal tract in dogs/cats and humans. I also give plain yogurt to my puppies and adult dogs every time they get vaccinated or wormed. I actually feed my puppies plain yogurt from the time they are 3 weeks old till the time they leave to go to their new homes. They get it as a late night snack to help them sleep through the night better.
