I would also recommend Mr. Edwards two volume "The Show Labrador Labrador Retriever in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, 1945-1995." He has tried to give an unbiased historical overview of the principal Labrador kennels and champions. There are no photographs. The books are soft bound.

I found these books to be excellent historical references.

Actually try looking on ebay. I just tried to bid on this exact book.But before I knew it i got out bid. for $45.00 and that is what it sold for.
