I will tell you no lies.
I was resting on the mountain
when surrounded by spies.
Tell us your secrets,
and give us your magic.
Or we will peform on you
deeds that are tragic!
Never! I cried.
No beans I will spill.
I challenged those cowards
to do as they will.
Just then to my rescue
(and not a minute too late)
Bounded a trio of mighty Labradors
To save me from my fate.
Come with us, one yelped
and flung me up on his neck.
Hold fast to my collar
And we'll continue our trek.
We're off to Potomac!
We're entered, you know.
Your kinfolk are waiting
and will be at the show.
So you see, Brother Hagas,
whether yellow, chocolate or blacks
Our friends the Labradors
are watching our backs.
What fun we will have
next week it is sure.
For spring fever's ills
The Potomac will cure.
Cousin Red will be there
with his band of Renegades.
To wrap up the show
with rousing serenades.
I offered to help,
to share the song loads,
With fine concert offerings,
from our band - the Bloated Toads.
So no need to worry,
Our magic's home free.
Come have a fun time at
The Potomac Specialty.
Tweedle dee…
And tweedle dum,
Haagas and Knut…

You think you are sly…
You think you are cunning,
We travel in droves…
To show Labs that are stunning!
There may be secrets…
And dirty little lies,
So everyone pick up…

Our tickets are purchased…
Our bags are packed,
Some will take big wins…
And others will get sacked!
The hotel staff is preparing…
And putting on the frills,
With high expectations…
Of guest room big bills!
Anticipation is rising…
For our Gala event,
The judge will do a good job…
To avoid shoes of cement!
The magic occurs …
There are two to get pointed,
Winner’s Dog & Bitch…
Will be the anointed.
As the 3rd day draws closer…
With no more money to spend,
The Best of Breed prize…
Will be given in the end.

Explain it? Think back to 4th grade....remember how if you brought birthday invitations or valentines you had to invite the entire class? Your teacher was referring to this stuff.

All can visit my website for the plight of the gnomes. It is explained in detail on how they appeared one by one at my van during LRCP 2006. And yes, you will also see what a great display of Labs that were captured at the show as well. I am so looking forward to capturing 2007 this year! It has kind of become my tradition for you all.

In heat, rain or cold.
