I noticed tonight that one of my 7 week old puppies seems to have an ear infection. It is only in one of his ears. Not sure if he is too young for any of the ear treatments I have from the vet for my adult dogs. I can't get him into the vet until Monday because of Easter, so I was just checking to see if anyone had any ideas of what I could use to keep him comfortable until then. I did clean it out with some basic ear cleaner and it seems really itchy. My poor boy:-( Any advice you have would be much appreciated by him.

we got back from the Vet with our 10wk.old, and she tested positive for ear mites! We asked our Vet to do a culture on the dark gunky stuff in her one ear. She's now three or four days on the antibiotic, and doing wonderfully. It was a Merial product that he prescribed, ear drops. They work great.
