I went through a few bags once. I liked the price and ingredients, but it smelled a bit off to me. (a little rancid) I think with some of the "natural" foods, that you need to find one that is used enough that it doesn't sit around.
Right now I'm using Innova and adding fish oil and am very happy with it. My 8 year old yellow has the best coat she's ever had.
With gunky ears, maybe try one of the hypoallergic foods. Pro Plan Sensitive systems, California Natural, Merrick....meat/grain sources they haven't eaten before.
