This was posted yesterday on their web site--Purina does NOT use any rice protein in its products and all of its ingredients are sourced in the US (not China).
Good thing--today is "shopping" day for the dogs and cats and I feed ProPlan chicken and rice.
My Purina products do not use wheat gluten. I use Proplan large breed and Proplan large breed weight management. The first ingrediant is chicken. I swear by the large breed weight managment for chubby labs. It has enough protein. Not like the rice diets in some weight management dog foods. My lab took off weight and looks good with feeding him the same amount I used to feed with the regular large breed.
