I was told by my distributor that after a while that dogs build up an immunity to Strongid T (Pyrantal) and that it's a good idea to switch to the Panacur, occasionally.
was hoping to see though if there were any negative experiences with one over the other. can understand whip is covered with Panacur, so that does become a negative against Strongid, but looking for personal experiences on one or the other!
I have used Strongid T (Pyrantal) forever and never had a problem. I does a great job on round worms in puppies. I use Panacur, occasionally, and have never had a negative experience with that either.
Panacur also helps with Giardia as well as some tapes. You have to give it everyday for three days. Pyrantal is a good wormer for Rounds and Hooks. Both are good wormers when dosed correctly.
