This is our first summer with Labs and a pool. How do you keep the Labs from eating your solar cover? Do you use some other method to keep your pool warm?
I live in New Mexico so there's plenty of sunshine and solar covers work great here...but probably not with Labradors...I'm just guessing. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
We have a good solar cover and do not use it. It stays in the pool shed because I am afraid of the dogs getting trapped underneath it.
We do keep them away from the pool unless it is swim time, and always supervised....but it only takes once for something tragic to happen so I would rather not use it at all.
