I was going thru some old copies of posts I had printed off the forum. I found one that mentioned not giving fish oil to pregnant dogs due to an increased risk of cleft palate. I checked with my repro. vet. She said she always give her girls fish oil. Has anyone else heard anything either pro or con?

Fish body oil or Salmon oil is fine; it is Cod Liver oil that you should avoid (Vit A) for the first 2/3 of the pregnancy (if you supplement with CLO). Ditto for liver (high in Vit A).
