CROSSPOSTING PERMITTED AND APPRECIATED!!!
ACO Chandra Davis works extremely hard to find loving homes or reputable rescues for the far-too-many dogs that find their way into the shelter that she runs in South Fulton, Tennessee. She even works closely with Deborah Lowrence, the Director of the Gibson-Obion County Humane Society, Inc., SPCA in Dyer, TN to find rescues or adoptions for their dogs.
It's no wonder then that ACO Davis and Director Lowrence are DESPERATELY trying to save Spice, a pregnant (but probably not due to give birth for at least a few weeks!) Basenji mix that's been cared for by ACO Davis and that's now headed to Pet Connections, Inc. in East Aurora, NY, as well as Bear, a GORGEOUS Labrador Retriever whose Marine-Corp-owner could no longer care for him and who's on his way to a second chance at a happy life under the loving care of Rudy's Rescue, upstate New York's only Labrador Retriever rescue group.
Four 6-week-old Rat Terrier mix pups will also be traveling to Pet Connections, Inc, in NY. Sunkist, another handsome Lab that missed his transport last weekend from Arkansas, MIGHT also be joining this transport, but that ISN'T definite yet. We'll keep everyone posted.
