Can anyone recommend a LIGHTWEIGHT yet powerful vacuum for sucking up all the dog hair that collects on my wood floors? I loved my Kirby for carpet, but it's too heavy to drag across bare floors.

It's a bit pricey, but it works better than anything else out there right now, IMO.

Love my Dyson also. I saw a commercial for a new lightweight one also...

Dyson for sure, one third the cost of a kirby!
