This is a post to a prior thread on 07-06-07. I've not been on the site for several days. Someone asked about treatment for a dog with hyperkeratosis. A dermatologist recommended the following treatment for my girl and it has worked well. She is on NutriVed Zinpro. It is a combination of 15mg. zinc and 30mg. Methionine per tablet in a flavored base. Based on her weight of 65-70 lbs. she gets 5 per day given in one dose. I also put old fashion Bag Balm on her nose several times a day. Hope this helps.
