OFA / Optigen news

Haven't had a second yet to go to the OFA site, but just got the LRCP newsletter which tells of the OFA July/August 07 news about OFA requirements to receive a clear by parentage certificate. Basically, sire & dam of said dog must be Optigen tested as well as dog applying, sire & dam must have Optigen results entered in OFA database. I read this quick, so someone correct me if I missed something.

"Basically, sire & dam of said dog must be Optigen tested "

and DNA profiled as well as dog applying for the certificate.

Re: OFA / Optigen news

Meant all three have to be DNA profiled, of course dog applying wouldn't be Optigen tested since your applying for clear by parentage, of course parents must be Optigen Normal/Clears
