Please help!!!! After two long years of being on a waiting list for an
agility dog, we have been notified by the breeder that, at long last, our
number has come up and ...WE ARE HAVING A PUPPY!!!

We must get rid of our children IMMEDIATELY because we just know how time
consuming our new little puppy is going to be and it just wouldn't be fair
to the children. Since our little puppy will be arriving on Monday we MUST
place the children into a new home or shelter/orphanage this weekend!

They are described as:

One male - His name is Tommy, Caucasian (English/Irish mix), light blonde
hair, blue eyes. Four years old. Excellent disposition. He doesn't bite.
Temperament tested. Does have problems with peeing directly in the toilet.
Has had chicken Pox and is current on all shots. Tonsils have already been
removed. Tommy eats everything, is very clean, house trained & gets along
well with others. Does not run with scissors and with a little training he
should be able to read soon.

One female - Her name is Lexie, Caucasian (English/Irish mix), strawberry
blonde hair, green eyes and quite freckled. Two years old. Can be surly at
times. Non-biter, thumb sucker. Has been temperament tested but needs a
little attitude adjusting occasionally. She is current on all shots, tonsils
out, and is very healthy & can be affectionate. Gets along well with other
little girls & little boys but does not like to share her toys and therefore
would do best in a one child household. She is a very quick learner and is
currently working on her house training-shouldn't take long at all.

We really do LOVE our children so much and want to do what's right for them;
that is why we contacted a rescue group. But we simply can no longer keep
them. Also, we are afraid that they may hurt our new puppy.

I hope you understand that ours is a UNIQUE situation and we have a real
emergency here!!! They MUST be placed into a loving home or rescue by Sunday
night at the latest or we will be forced to drop them off at the orphanage
or along some dark, country road. Our priority now has to be our new puppy.

Please contact me...your email is not working.

I am very interested in Lexie. I have personal history rescuing children, having rescued a 9 year old male 10 years ago. He has graduated high school, and is a productive, tax paying, member of society.

I know you stated she may best be the only child in the household, but I have experience in training, and am certain I can train her to get along with my existing child, a 14 year old boy. However, because I have this already alpha male child, I am sorry I would not be able to help you with Tommy...I hope you are not opposed to splitting them up.

Also, I feel that Lexie would respond favorably to me, as I too am a strawberry blonde with green eyes, and am myself very freckled. Sometimes they respond best to their own kind.

I have housetrained a male child, I'm certain I would be able to continue her housetraining in a positive reinforcement manner.

Any of her equipment you could provide would be helpful, as I only have belongings for male children. I'm sure you would like to make her transition as easy as possible, and therefore this should not be a problem. Her bed would be helpful, as well as a blanket, and some toys. I would also like to have a list of the foods you have been feeding her, so as not to upset her stomach by changing foods on her when she arrives.

I would love to see a picture or two of her, as I may wish to show her one day in local beauty pagents. If she is not beauty pagent quality, I would still be interested in helping you out with your situation...perhaps braces or plastic surgery later would help the situation.

I have no interest in breeding her, and will seek birth control for her as soon as she hits the age of maturity. There are, after all, enough fatherless children out there.

I look forward to hearing from you!
