Just seeking some experienced advice with Frontline Plus. Who uses it on their girls that are pregnant? We've heard conflicting things, and would like to keep our girl pest free in this heat wave.

I asked this same question yesterday.
The Repro vet I use said that it is OK to use Frontline Plus on a pregnant bitch.
She also said that I could give Interceptor for heartworm.
The one thing she said to hold off on was Bordatella vacine for now.
I would check with your own vet before making any decesions.

My vet recommends no HW during pregnancy. So I don't give it and I don't use Frontline but wouldn't use it on a pregnant bitch - especially during the crucial first 4 weeks.

If I'm not mistaken it tells you not to get it on your own skin when applying it to the dog.

Just went over this with my vet a couple of days ago and she also said not to give any flea/tick prevention till after the 4 week mark and she said then only then give it to her if I HAVE to.

I would never give any flea or heartworm medications during pregnancy !! Why take any chances to have something go wrong ??
