Like the mutt population is more healthy? Hmm, Is there a database for them because I would love to see it.

I love it when people say that mixed breeds are healthier than purebreds. Some of the worst cases of allergies, epilepsy and hip dysplasia I have ever seen were in the so called healthier mutts!

The public will believe what it wants to.

Thing is, you never see the dogs that die giving birth under the porch, or the dogs that are euthanized because of skin allergies, or any other mutt that is given up or euthanized because the mutt owner can't afford the care. Sit in a vet's office and you'll see a parade of mixed breeds with cancer, allergies, diabetes, yada yada, but they don't have breed clubs and the Canine Health Foundation keeping statistics.

Ah well...
