We don't know what he had but he's pretty much all back to normal now. He did have a barium series and that was negative do vet thinks he ate something nasty out of the garbage. I went out and bought new trash cans with locking lids cause he'll be back in there again.....
btw ... he has a shaved leg too from the IV catheter.
He was due to show in about 4 weeks not sure how that will look in the ring we'll see then.

It sounds like your boy had acute pancreatitis caused by ingesting something rotten (road kill, garbage), or a large amount of fat (like getting into suet for the birds). It causes vomiting and bloody diarrhea and has a fairly quick onset.

So glad you got him to the veterinarian on time and he pulled through!
