Wally Bed--designer recommended

I found a beautiful book at Pottery Barn--An Affair with a House. In it the author mentions the Wally Bed for dogs. Has anyone bought these and can you recommend them?

Holy smokes! I just looked at the price :(

Re: Wally Bed--designer recommended

I like Costco beds - $20.00, removable/washable covers and often they're done in quite nice fabrics.

Of course, I'm hoping that the satin doggie dress does come in Lab size :P

Re: Re: Wally Bed--designer recommended

for 130-144$ *I* will make you one:)
Yikes...for that kind of cash you could go to the fabric store and buy up the nicest fake fur they have in stock, some body pillows or polyfill and anyone with the most basic sewing machine skills could whip out a good half dozen.
you could make your own "pillow" out of cheap but sturdy muslin, stuff it, and then make a slightly larger fur cover that you can remove and wash....just my thoughts.

I stumbled upon these Wally Beds at a show today and HOLY COW ! Very pricey $$$$ Very nice though.

Knowing what we all know our angelic Labs are capable of, I would be very upset to see $150 of stuffing everywhere
