Good idea, now, for those of us who, a) do not know HOW to change the spam filter or B) do not have access to the codes or C) simply do not know WHAT a spam filter is,

Email spam settings have nothing to do with code or web pages. It is a setting in your email account. And if you have spam filtering you will know because it is always asking you questions about adding people to your approved list or not.
Ok, Now Howie and Frustrated...it is a BEAUTIFUL holiday weekend, ...don't use the word stupid when referring to yourself or others and give each other a big hug while you exchange information on how to open up email spam filters. *hands a lollipop to each of you*
not sure if you figured out the email setting thing, if so, great. if not try this. not sure if this will be the same for every internet provider, but should be sim. i would think.
- go to "help and settings" should be at the top left by file, etc.
- go to settings
-junk email filter, then choose the strength you want.
If you post what sort of e-mail client you have (do you use Outlook Express? Or one of the popular web-based e-mails like Yahoo or Gmail? Or AOL?) I'm sure someone here will be glad to walk you through it.

A spam filter is just something that sorts out the viagra & nigerian scam e-mails into another folder (or you can set it to automatically delete them) so you don't have to wade through 500 junk e-mails to get to the dozen that count. Everyone has access to their spam filters and can adjust the settings.
