Columbus OH - Pet limits!

ALERT!!!! Columbus, Ohio plans to enact pet limit!!!

* Permission to Crosspost*

The city of Columbus will be voting about limiting the number of pets we
can own! We all know pet limits are not the answer. One pet with a lousy
owner can be more problematic than ten pets with a responsible owner.
This law could seriously affect not only pet owners, but breeders,
rescuers and foster homes as well! It could cause more euthanized pets if
people are unable to adopt because they already have the legal limit of
pets.

This law is economically unsound too. People with multiple pets look to
the city of Columbus for homes, that option will be gone. With the housing
market dismal as it is, good luck selling your Columbus house. Pet care and
veterinary businesses will suffer if there are less pets to support their
industry. Less pets means less license money, which supports the Animal
Control. Where will they make up for the lost revenue? More taxes?
