Re: Re: More mixes of our breed

I do have to add I love this statement.."By
breeding only those dogs that best represent their breed standard will result in a beautiful, even tempered, long life companion for you."

Can I ask what standard does a Goldendoodle have?

Re: More mixes of our breed

Glad you asked Jennifer, here ya go:

The Miniature Goldendoodle gets its name from its mixed parentage, the
Golden Retriever and the Miniature Poodle. The puppies take on the best traits
of both breeds. The wonderful traits include; loyal, intelligent, easily trained,
eager to please, lovable and even tempered. They are the happiest when around
their human companions. As a hybrid cross the Miniature Goldendoodle usually
grows to be healthier than either parent breed and display what is known as
healthy hybrid vigor. The AKC has ranked dogs according to popularity in North
America, the Golden Retriever being 4th and the Poodle being 5th respectively.

Miniature Goldendoodles not only come in a variety of solid colors such as;
chalk, cream, golden, apricot, red, chocolate, black and silver but can also come
in several unique and unusual color patterns such as; phantom, brindle, sable
and parti. The Miniature Goldendoodle is a very versatile breed and can live and
adapt to any loving family environment...city or rural. Miniature Goldendoodles do
require a moderate amount of exercise. Long walks, swimming or playing fetch are
good examples in keeping your Miniature Goldendoodle healthy, happy and
content.

Miniature Goldendoodles can come in three different coat types; curly, wavy or
flat. The texture of the coat is more often fleece type and extremely soft. They
are typically low to nearly non shedding and work great for those families with
mild allergies. The F1b generation is the recommended choice for those who
suffer with more moderate to sever allergies.
The Miniature Goldendoodle coat requires regular brushing if you choose to
keep your Goldendoodle natural (unclipped). This will keep the matting down
and the coat in tip top shape. Goldendoodles can be clipped back 2-3 times a
year if desired.

The Miniature Goldendoodle is quite an amazing dog and has been purposefully
bred down for its impressive qualities. The friendly nature, ease of training and
the smaller size make the Miniature Goldendoodle increasingly popular with
families looking for a more compact size "family friendly" companion. Miniature
Goldendoodles are the same people pleasing, fun loving Doodle as the
Standard but come in a smaller package!

We are currently breeding Miniature Goldendoodles in two sizes.....

Southern Comfort Doodles is....One
Big Happy Family!!!

A North American Retriever is the result of breeding a Goldendoodle with
a Labradoodle of any generation combination. This is purposefully done to
give the opportunity of a even larger and more diverse gene pool that will
further result in healthy, hybrid vigor. This is all accomplished while still
maintaining all the desired traits of the Labrador Retriever, Golden
Retriever and Poodle.

This newly developed hybrid cross is a great choice for those families
having trouble deciding between Labradoodle and Goldendoodle. As their
popularity grows we should see the North American Retriever fill the
needs of both Labradoodle and Goldendoodle lovers alike.

Coats will vary depending on the generations used as is with the
Goldendoodle and Labradoodle generations.

Our North American Retrievers will be f1b X F1 0r F1b X F1b crosses
which is equivalent to a F2b or F3 generation Goldendoodles. Our North
American Retrievers will be an excellent choice for those looking for a
companion to offer the allergy friendly and low to no shedding qualities.

We currently are breeding the Standard sizes but will be offering the
Miniature sizes in the near future. For information concerning planned North
American Retriever litters please Enter Here.

Re: More mixes of our breed

Oh, but this statement is even better (can you say MUTT?):

"This is purposefully done to
give the opportunity of a even larger and more diverse gene pool that will
further result in healthy, hybrid vigor. This is all accomplished while still
maintaining all the desired traits of the Labrador Retriever, Golden
Retriever and Poodle."

Re: Re: More mixes of our breed

How do you know they take on the best traits of parent????? Do they know something every breeder in the world doesn't know??? Wow, what a crock!

Re: Re: More mixes of our breed

Ok I just have to say I have nothing against mixed breeds I love dogs peroid. ..but please...there is no such thing as "hybrid vigor" and no breeding of any dog, cat or otherwise will get you "only the best" of both ....you can get the good and the bad...with a breeding of two purebreds you at least can expect certain traits, with a hybrid everyone can be different..one may look like a poodle or a lab etc...

Re: Re: More mixes of our breed

I like when they say they'll provide the pedigree of the parents "if available".

Re: More mixes of our breed

So basically their breed standard is that the dog can be any size, have any type of coat and be any color??? Wow, is that consistent [:-|.....should be real easy to recognize one of these dogs on the street....NOT.

Re: More mixes of our breed

Here we go again

Re: More mixes of our breed

My new designer breed is the choco-latte mochachino golden-labradoodle. It comes in three sizes: tall, grande, and venti. The calmer ones we call decaf choco-latte mochachino golden-labradoodles, but we have bred some double espresso shot pups by special request for some really active families. And for those who are lactose intolerant, we also have a soy variety.

Re: More mixes of our breed

so now we are posting labramutt litter advertisements?

Re: More mixes of our breed

Locally there is a person who breeds golden newfies! Said person has also had a long history of jail terms with theft and money scams. I guess he has finally found a "legal" way to scam money out of people

Re: Re: More mixes of our breed

WOW!! LMFAO!!!
This made me almost spit out my beverage all over the keyboard!!

"but we have bred some double espresso shot pups by special request for some really active families"

Re: Re: More mixes of our breed

LMAO...OMG too funny!

Re: More mixes of our breed

All of this makes me think of a joke someone I know tells about the so called 'designer' breeds (mutts). They are now crossing bulldogs and shitzus. They are calling this new hybrid breed Bullshits.

Re: More mixes of our breed

When we were showing our cocker, I used to entertain myself to stay awake on long drives by thinking of new breeds to make with my boy...

Cocker +
Dobie = pinchacock
Boxer = box o'cocks
Havanese = havacock
Poodle = cockadoodle
Labradoodle = cockadoodledoo

You get the idea...

Well, it kept me awake and laughing!
