John Doherty owned him.
He was shown by Karen Shultz (husband Charlie) of Northwood Labs, and I don't believe they have been in dogs for years now.

John is still in dogs- Iknow he bred a litter about two years ago. So I assume he is still in dogs.

Laura, you are correct that Karen Schultz showed him - but only as a Special. Barbara Nowak showed him as a youngster, and was the one that finished him. I found out that the easiest conversation you will ever have with Barb Nowak is to ask her about Silky Beau. The stories will keep you up past bedtime - you can still see the love she has for that dog....

I talked to John a couple years ago. He was looking for a stud to breed to one of his girls, so I know he was still in dogs then. I have a Silky Beau grandson and granddaughter and many great grandkids. A well known, long time breeder said that when he walked in the ring, it would take her breath away.
