Bred a dog that had this. He stunk! Local vet tried everything & finally recommended perpetual prednisone. Good Grief! They took him to a teaching hospital & where he was diagosed with a systemic yeast infection. He was put on an expensive human anti-fungal. The dog moved back into the house and lived happily ever after.
