Has anyone had any experiences with high blood pressure and treating it?

Our vets are just now looking into this for our old guy. I will post when they have researched it and a decision to medicate or whatever they decide to do, if anything. If your vets come up with a treatment, please also post if you would be so kind

Not only have I not heard of it, I don't believe I have ever seen a dog have his blood pressure taken. Do they do it with the cuff, like they do for people?

I'm not exactly sure of the procedure but I do know it is much more complicated than taking a humans.
