I just learned that the state of Illinois does not have an official state dog and they are taking suggestions. ABC is taking a poll and you can submit your recommendation, the FABULOUS LAB of course, on the following web site:

On the right hand side of the page in "enter search item" type in "state dog". Mid way down the page click on "Submit your state dog suggestion". I think you can also attach a picture.
There is also a link to a list of the states that do have a state dog.
Just a suggestion.
