New "Dad" is flying into Maine next W/E and leaving a cpl of days later to head home to Montana with "Jr", do we need anything other than a standard health certificate? He'll be flying with Dad, just want to be ready for when my Vet comes later this wk.

I would contact the airline to make sure you have everything you need--just to be sure.

Contact airline. If puppy less then 15 pound it can fly under seat in the main cabin in a sherpa bag. You need to tell airline ahead of time that you bring a puppy since they have a limit. The cost is about $80.00 one way in the cabin. Would get health certificate just in case he would need to fly "under" then you would need a hard crate. Plan for direct flight.
