Wow. How cute! After becoming involved in Labs, I remember the most heartwarming thing I learned was the surrogate mother concept when a breeder loses a bitch. It still amazes me how another bitch will hop into a box of puppies that are not her own and nurse them like her own.

I can absolutely relate!
