I used it for several years on my senior girl. She was administered 200 mg daily, sublinqually. She never had gastric issues from it, nor did it affect her liver values. She was extremely arthritic and it really helped her mobility. This has been my experience with the NSAID.
The effects of NSAIDS in dogs is just as variable as it is in humans.What works great for one may be worthless in the next and may make the third one very ill.With all the different ones on the market now, there is a good chance at least one will work. I have found Zubrin to be effective and have seen virtually no side effects. I have also been pleased with the response I have had with Previcox. Debbie
