When you are looking for puppys or a stud dog and you look at clearances and don't see things. Do you think they were not done, did not pass ? I know call the breeder and ask. I just like it all right there handy. Know some don't send eyes to Cerf, but elbows and hearts you think would be there. Still looking, just wondered.

Well, if something is missing (like elbows), I'll start by looking at other dogs owned by the person and see if they just don't do them (there are still a few breeders not generally doing elbows). If all the other dogs they own are in the database, then something is amiss, though it might be as simple as OFA needing the films redone due to poor quality, etc...

Best thing to do (as you know) is call and ask.

Well, you already know to call the breeder I don't always send in the eye clearances and have not yet sent in my girls heart clearance. Having said that, make sure you get to see copies of the clearances before you buy.
