Funny what a small world having Labradors makes. I re-met Carol's husband after 30 years at Potomac last year. We grew up on the same street, went to the same schools and his sister was one of my good friends as a child!!

Fantastic -- that is no small feat especially given it is so difficult to finish a Lab! Congratulations!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. We drove all the way to Texas from New York to attend the HOT Labrador Specialty and to visit with our labrador friends who live in the area. We had a wonderful time! The specialty was terrific; the labs were outstanding and the raffle was one of the best I've ever seen. Everyone at the show--and in Texas, for that matter--was so gracious and friendly! The city of Austin is an exiting place, from the clubs on 6th Street to the Jazz Festival at Flat Creek Winery--my husband is already planning to make this an annual trip.
