I was in a show ring last weekend (Lab Specialty) and was approached by a "breeder". She struck up a conversation with me.

I have only been in the show ring a handful of times.

At any rate this person was eagerly talking about this dog or that dog. I was a first shocked and had nothing to say - moved up in line and tried to ignore her.

In another class, I could hear her badmouthing breeders and their dogs.

Now, my questions:

why do people do this?

why do people listen to those kinds of individuals who are rude and filled with jealously, hatred and ill will?

Searching to stir up something negative?

If you don't consider yourself to be a troll... then by all means, have your coffee BEFORE coming on here!

There are classless, tasteless and rude people in all walks of life, not just the show ring. Just move on, and connect yourself with kinder people.
