Went to the Chicago show on Saturday. The breeder of one of my seniors had a dog in the show. She was so nice in welcoming me and introducing me to some of the other breeders. Everyone was so nice. Was brimming with questions but had to bite my tongue, this was a show with their dogs entered and they did not need the distraction of a nonbreeder butting in. They were helping each other, holding dogs. Was in heaven when my breeder, sitting next to me was holding a dog for another and I had the opportunity to love on and talk with the dog. That's right, I am crazy over labs and proud of it!
As far as the judging, all I saw happy, ginning, pink tongued, lovely pacing labs. They all were winners in my eyes. And the young ones, was almost in tears they are so sweet.
To my breeder and all the others there, THANK YOU SO MUCH for an unforgetable day. It speaks volumes for your labs. And congrats to all the winners.
