I just read on another message board that in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the local Meijers store STOPPED its campaign to donate money from its pet photo contest to the HSUS after it was informed by some sportsmen's groups that the HSUS is anti-hunting! This would represent a great conflict of interest in a state where hunting is so prevalent! The HSUS was quite upset, as would be expected.

But, it just goes to show that some organizations DO listen to the consumer. Please, contact your local Meijers store and tell them about the HSUS/PETA agenda. If you enjoy working your labrador retriever in its bred-to-do capacity, this is one more opportunity to stifle the HSUS' efforts to gain funds for its goals.
