I would love some information on what food is best for a just bred Mom.
I have been feeding Royal Canin Lab #30 for the last year.
I bred my girl last week and am wondering if I need to change the food I am feeding her?
Another breeder said that i should not be feeding her a "large breed food" when she is "making babies".
I have used Solid Gold Foods in the past.
Any suggestions from that line or any others?
I hate to change my girl's food but I will do so slowly if it is better for her and the pups I am hopeing for.
Also, I understand that the Mom should be eating puppy food in the last few weeks of pregnancy?
Also, that it should not be Large breed?
I want to do this right and am getting conflicting info from friends, breeders and the vet.
