I was wondering about this, and it may be a stupid question to some, but with the heat in the summers does it affect puppy coat? I have a puppy which was born in April, and since his arrival in June it has consistently been in the upper 80s and 90s. Will this heat affect the growth of his puppy coat or his future coat? He is on a quality food and I try to keep him inside where the air conditioning is at 72 degrees. But, he just doesn't seem to be growing a lot of coat...not what I'm used to. Both parents are dripping so the genetics are there. It is still a harsh coat just not real thick.
