To notify you all of a last minute specialty change:

On Friday evening we became aware that there will be a large softball tournament at Marie Kerr Park on the fields adjacent to our usual show site. The tournament will be on Friday - Sunday, necessitating a change of location for us. We discussed options at length with the parks dept., and decided late today that it is in our best interest to move across the park to another field.

The specialty WILL STILL BE AT MARIE KERR PARK. However, we will now be on the soccer field at the northwest corner of the park. Access to that area is from 30th St. West (directions below). There is ample flat grass area for the rings and set-ups, and the Board and show committee are scrambling to make the necessary adjustments that are needed for this change.

Because confirmation of entries have already been mailed, we are doing all we can to let others know of the change in location. We are asking that you notify friends who are attending, and post to any e-lists that you belong to. I am notifying Lab clubs in CA, and we will have signs at the old site directing our exhibitors to the new field. The wider the dissemination of this information, the better.

Directions to the new site:
From the 14 freeway, take Rancho Vista Blvd. west.
Go two miles, PAST the main entrance to Marie Kerr Park, to 30th St. West (traffic light at the southwest corner of the park).
Turn right on 30th St. Enter the parking lot at the first driveway on the right.
