I just got this email this morning from a a friend about one of my pups. Nothing in the history of the parents so I thought I would post here. It's too early to call my vet, I'll do that too when she opens.

How have you been? You would be so proud of Toby and his owner, he's become quiet the hunting dog!! His owner contacted me yesterday for help and now I am hoping that you can help me. Toby has been ill for the last month or so. They are having a ultrasound today and their vet is thinking that its liver related. Is there anythng in his line that might suggest a liver problem. Any info you can give would be extremely helpful. I was worried that he might have swallowed something and has an obstruction since his symptoms were not eating and throwing up anything he did try to eat. I just went thru emergency surgery with my 1 year old boy, he ate a rag and it got stuck! Not fun!!
Please let me know if there is anything you can think of that will help with the vet's diagnosis.
