Please say "NO" on the proposed possible tax on Veterinary Services. CA wants to legislate a 9% tax on all veterinary services, including meds. Veterinarians, who’s training and licensing is as rigorous as that of MDs would then have their care taxed, (including the cost of surgeries, neutering, etc.) as though they were just dispensing canned goods. The additional 9% cost of such services will surely discourage many from giving their pets the care they need. This is a time when we are trying to heighten awareness regarding care for animals SO please help by calling the governor’s office and let it be known that balancing the budget at the expense of our pets is not acceptable!!!!
