Please keep in mind that all of these draconian bills are meant to shock you. The people behind most of this legislation will attempt to work a compromise when you do... but your rights will still slowly be eroded once they pass in some form. It is imperative that you ask your legislators to kill all of these bills and not go the compromise route. It's very hard to undo a law but very easy to modify an exisiting one. So a law that says you can't have 25 dogs can easily be knocked down to 10.

Get busy. If you don't live in these states - do your best to write anyways. Explain that you will not be traveling to any shows or events in these states anymore. Since dogs shows are a hobby, those tourism dollars are a little stronger than just plain old tourism.
