Also Bernadette Brown in Camden, S. Carolina. She is great with the dogs and people. A true professional. Has trained many Master Hunters.

I love this guy:

When my dog was down there for training, he would rather have stayed with him then get some lovin' from me.

He's great! I know of several breeders that have used him and have been pleased. Then again, the dog has to have the desire, drive and ability to want to do what's being taught and asked of them. Follow through after home is essential to keep them going to the next level.

Re: JH and SH trainers in the southeast

Jill Volsch of Morningside Retrievers in Havana Florida right outside of Tallahassee. She took my boy after I got his JH on him and will be training him through MH and a QAA hopefully. She has worked with non field bred labs and also has a kennel full of Flat Coat's that have their CH's. She is currently in Canada training but will be back in September. She keeps the dogs in pristine condition during training and takes outstanding care of them while on the road. She is very affordable also. You can google and get her website.
