For anyone attending the dog shows fri/sat/sun at Lums Pond in Delaware take an hour and go watch the all-breed field trial. It is less than 10 minutes from the show site! What better change do you have without going out of your way. Take a chair and shade umbrella. I'll be going over Saturday right after lab and Chesapeake judging if you want to follow me over. My chesapeake bitch is running in Qualifying.

Directions from the Dog Show at Lums Pond Camp Ground

When you leave the camp ground, turn Right, got about ¼ mile to the first main road on your left. Turn left onto Chesapeake City Road. Go 2.3 miles. Turn right onto Steele Road (which becomes Woods Road in MD). Go 1.4 miles. Turn right into Rebel Ridge Farms, Inc.

Friday- 8am starts the Open, continues Saturday
Friday 8am starts the Derby, usually finishes in one day
Sat 8am starts the Qualifying, maybe finished in one day
Sat 8am starts the Amateur continues Sunday

Qualifying is triples on land and water, land blind, water blind and an honor.
Derby is steady, deliver to hand, doubles on land and water, 6mo -2 years only
Open and Amateur are triples or quads with retired guns on land and water, land and water blinds and honor.
