I have decided to switch my crew to Ivermectin, but don't know the dosage and my vet keeps "forgetting" to look it up, which I think is his silent protest against me no longer buying expensive hw preventative from him.

I have the 1% injectible cattle/swine type, which I plan to give orally. I would prefer the dosage where you squirt it on a piece of bread, rather than mixing it with something else.

Also, I have read conflicting information about whether it will treat worms other than heartworms. I was planning to give the gang ferbendazole every 3 months. Is that necessary?
