For those of you who have raised litters and puppies on both proplan regular puppy food and proplan performance, which did you prefer and why? Thanks!

I've never raised mine on the Performance, but I can say that I have used the Pro Plan Regular Puppy Chicken and Rice for many litters and love the results. I gradually switch them starting at 4-5 months to a mixture of Performance and 4-Health Chicken and Rice Adult sold exclusively at Tractor Supply. They are growing quite evenly and have not lost bone.

I have raised puppies on both formulas and prefer the Performance, nice bloomy puppies, keep their bone, lots of calories and fat for growing babies, and the plus is I can feed everyone the same food.

I am considering trying the Performance solely with my next litter although I can't complain about the Regular. Good to hear feedback.

Been using the Perf. for a couple of years and like it very much. Correct % of calcium and can use for everyone.
