What will the major difference be between these two shows, beside the educational offerings and performance events? Will the entry be pretty much the same? I can only take two days off that week and am trying to decide whether to take Thursday and Friday or Wednesday and Thursday... Any suggestions?
Re: The Regional vs. the National and Hotels for National Exhibitors
It is like a Back-to-Back specialty- the National and the Regional for conformation. It gives the "breed" folks a second event to enter so they have the opportunity to show at two events just like exhibitors entering in Agility, OB, Rally and some of the hunt test classes. The committee is hoping that offering this option for exhibitors, to be able enter breed classes for two events, will build the conformation entry to be as successful as the other areas of the event.
As far as hotels- check back off and on with the host hotel because some folks may be giving up some of their rooms if their plans have changed. It's worth a try anyway. The other option is to stay in Sturbridge MA which is not far from show area either- about 1/2 hr away. There are some dog friendly hotels in that area.
