Hi. Question for those of you that have stud dogs - where do you buy extender? Just got word from my repro vet that they have enacted a new office policy and will no longer sell extender by itself - you must buy the whole shipping box with the extender. I am used to using Synbiotics but also have used Chill 5. It seems very ungreen not to be using the identical box that I have sitting on a shelf. Feeling frustrated.

Call Minitube. They sell Chill 5 by the bottle.

Just google them for the number. I don't have it off the top of my head.

Denise, Camelot sells *INSEMIN-AID Semen Extender*. I never heard of it prior. Aren't most stud dog owners using Chill 5 or Chill 10 today? Just asking how it compares and how well it works for you. Thanks.

Camelot only says good for 48 hours after extending. Chill 5 is still great after 4 days at least. Chill 5 is the way to go. I evaluated some semen after 96 hours and after about one minute on the slide all swimmers leaped into action....

I've always had excellent results with Camelot Farms Inseminade. Out of curiousity, I saved a little chilled semen which arrived on a Tuesday. Each day I would take a drop and examine under a microscope....the semen was still excellent until ther following weekend....a full five days after collection and shipping!!!!
And it already has the egg mixed in it.
