I had always assumed that labs who are missing teeth, do not have them at all. It never dawned on me that they could be there, just not grown in properly.

Labs missing teeth from lines which it is common to be missing teeth... I understand it could be either, but is it much more likely the tooth just isn't there to begin with? Is there a difference between just one missing tooth as opposed to missing the pair (bilateral?)?
