Innova, EVO, California Natural, HealthWise, Mother Nature or Karma food users

From "Pet Age Magazine "

"Consumers who purchased Natura products -- Innova, EVO, California Natural, HealthWise, Mother Nature or Karma dog or cat foods -- between March 2005 and July 2011 could be eligible to receive up to $200 each as part of a proposed settlement of a class action suit.

Natura Pet Products Inc., in conjunction with Natura Pet Food Inc., Natura Manufacturing and Peter Atkins, in July agreed to a proposed settlement of a lawsuit claiming that Natura violated California's business and professions code when advertising its dog and cat food products, according to a news release from BMC Group, an information management support services company. The lawsuit claims that Natura made false and misleading statements about the human-grade quality of its food in its advertisemetns, promotional materials and labeling.

Natura denies any liability or wrong-doing of any kind associated with the claims alleged in the lawsuit, but agreed to the proposed settlement in order to avoid the inconvenience and costs of further litigation, according to the summary of court documents.

Claims may be submitted online at www.petproductssettlement.com or mailed to Natura Settlement Claims, c/o Analytics Inc., P. O. box 2005, Chanhassen, MN 55317-2005. The earliest aproved claim could be paid in May 1, 2012. For more info: 888 768-2047
