What is the average weight for a full grown Lab male? A range. Thanks
Adult males can range from >65 to <100 pounds. This will not tell you if the dog is fat or not. So much depends on height, build and condition. Some larger males can carry 100 pounds and not be considered fat. The standard states a male should be 65-80 pounds.
If you want to know if the dog is fat, press your hand against his ribcage. If you can feel a shadowing of his ribs, he's fine. He should also have a "waist" ie an indentation behind the rib cage.
The ideal weight for a dog is as individual as the dog is himself.
