Someone at a show recently showed me a bar they use on the tailgate of their minivan to hold it open about a foot yet have it locked. I lost the name of the gaget and can't find it when I google. Can anyone help?

I always call them ghetto bars, however they come from Clean run dot com
they call them ventlock tailgate locks, much more proper

Thanks Barb...that's it. Is there any such thing for the side doors in my minivan? I can't believe that the side windows don't open at all!

I just saw this at the Obedience class last night. The instructor just happened to mention it and we walked out to her car to show me. Hers was from Leerburg locks and I just did a search to find. She had one 12in for her tailgate but a 4in one also. I don't have a tailgate but doors the short one would work on side door. Very neat.
