Please tell me how tom train my new boy dog to not mark my whole house. I am sorta new but always have girls. How can I make him stop lifting that leg? LOL
how old is he and do you have any other males in the house. I would if he is of that age, put him on a lead, take him all over the house, room to room, piece of furniture to another piece. Let him check out everything closely, and if he even smells too long or looks like he is even thinking about marking, correct him with a pop on the lead and what ever word/words you use for no, and move to the next area. It may take a couple of turns around the inside of the house so he becomes familiar with all the spaces and always correct if you believe he is thinking about doing it. I don't think it will take long for him to realize that he isn't top dog in the house and he won't mark inside. Just don't let him have free range until you can trust him. He may not even think about it if he is young and no male to compete with.
